Our Review Methodology
Transparency is the foundation of GoodDeals. Here is how we review products.
Purchase the product
We buy products ourselves in-store or online — we never accept manufacturer sponsorships. This guarantees fully independent reviews.
Use it for at least 2 weeks
Every product is used under real-world conditions for a minimum of 2 weeks. For laptops and smartphones, we use them daily for 30 days.
Score against criteria
Scores are on a 0–10 scale based on: Performance (30%), Design & Durability (20%), Battery & Usage Time (20%), Features (15%), Value for Money (15%).
Write an honest review
We cover both pros and cons. If a product is bad, we say so plainly — no exceptions, regardless of whether the manufacturer advertises on the site.
Keep reviews up to date
Reviews are updated when new firmware/software is released, when there is a significant price change, or when long-term quality issues emerge.
